The Contractor shall provide for the tasks documented in this narrative on a best effort, Level of Effort (LOE) basis with the number of FTEs listed under labor categories. The hours will be managed at the overall JITR level.
The Sponsor provides a collection of fully integrated, PKI enabled tools and services that enable efficient software development, testing, deployment and maintenance. The Sponsor has taken the DevOps tool chain and extended it to provide services for varying groups involved in the software development lifecycle to include Development, Project Management, Operations and Security. These tools are reducing delivery times, increasing team productivity, identifying risks faster and making applications more stable and secure.
The Sponsor requires support for the Engineering Services development team which provides development activities for a virtual desktop. The virtual desktop is a modular and secure LINUX-based operating system that projects can implement and tailor to their own needs. The virtual development environment is an alternative to other development desktops.
Priorities will be managed by the Sponsor project manager.
The Contractor shall support Virtual Development Environments (VDEs) hosted in AWS.
The Contractor shall manage and track requirements through the teams’ requirements tracking tool.
The Contractor shall install, enhance, and maintain work on the Virtual Development Environment hosted in Sponsor’s cloud environment.
The Contractor shall diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with the VDE as reported by consumers.
The Contractor shall provide Operations & Maintenance of the Virtual Development Environment.
The Contractor shall conduct engineering activities such as documenting internal processes, procedures, and scripts.
The Contractor shall work with the Staff Digital Engineer to set priorities and strategic direction.
The Contractor shall install and configure all new software.
The Contractor shall create customer outreach materials such as online wikis, webcasts, and other documentation.
