2022868 Cyber Engineering Project Engineer $215,000.00

Description:

Position Requires a Top Secret (TS/SCI) Clearance with a Polygraph.

The Cyber Engineering Project Manager is part of the contract’s program management office team providing management, administration, and support to cyber security projects

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Oversee the execution of multiple engineering projects adhering to customer and program processes, procedures, and established controls
o Ensure managed projects are completed successfully within negotiated parameters to include technical implementation and associated documentation objectives
o Ensure projects have established key performance indicators that measure the performance of project team member activities, technical performance for services and products and/or operations and maintenance activities
o Drive the alignment of project plans and metrics with direct and indirect team members (team members, peers, leadership, and customer)
o Proactively identify project risks, build solution options, gather data to support/propose one option over another to key stakeholders and resolve risks via project plan
o Formulate project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies
o Communicate current project status to stakeholders in a variety of forums
o Coordinate with internal and external program personnel at multiple levels of the organization to achieve project objectives
o Prepare and update project-related documentation as required
o Internalize visual, audio and participative feedback from technical and non-technical leaders, and then produce a clear vision, problem statement/s, charter, project plan
o Navigate between data engineering, software and network development, operations and security teams to gather project and technical deliverable requirements
o Generate network diagrams, process flows, architectural design drawings/Visio, to create clarity for project team and related stakeholders
o Ensure documentation approved by the customer Review Boards is placed under configuration management control
o Assist members of the PMO with ensuring O&M requirements for documentation upkeep are adhered to for deployed systems
o Assist members of the PMO with ensuring O&M baselines are kept under configuration management control and that changes occur in concert with customer change management policies
· Participate in contract and customer strategic planning activities, when required
· Coordinate, schedule, and attend meetings as directed by the Contractor Program Manager or direct line manager
· Support the customer management team in responding to Front Office data calls, action items, and other ad hoc reporting requirements when identified
· Ability to research and work with vendors in the procurement of equipment

Salary Range: Up to $215,000.00 per year

Mandatory Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, operations management, operations science, other closely related IT discipline, or equivalent experience

· TS/SCI with Polygraph
· Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in IT project management
· Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously to deliver tangible results
· Proactively seeks for ways to service the customer without direct requests/tasks
· Known for ability to own and close new/previously unknown challenges/problems/projects until the correct owner can be identified
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a dynamic technical and operations environment
· Strong organizational and interpersonal relationship skills
· Effective oral and written communication skills across technical and non-technical layers of the organization

Optional Requirements:

· Project or program management skills demonstrated by one or all of the following:

o Obtained the PMI/PMP certification and/or demonstrated its principles and practiced through specific use cases
o Obtained Agile certification/s and/or demonstrated practice through specific use cases
o Obtained Software Development Life-cycle Certification (SDLC) and/or demonstrated practice through specific use cases
o Achieved Lean and/or Six Sigma certification/s and/or demonstrated practice through specific use cases
