Description:

Position Requires a Top Secret (TS/SCI) Clearance with a Polygraph.

• Implement and test commercial cyber security tools and features to determine impact to the Enterprise and provide recommendations to leadership for approval
• Customize COTS products and ensure they are compatible with other Enterprise systems
• Able to produce detailed network diagrams and brief designs to review boards
• Assess network/cloud security posture and recommend modifications for enhancement or improvement
• Communicate vulnerability findings to management and partners
• Work independently to resolve technical issues
• Identify and recommend mitigations for vulnerability findings found by security services, tools, and appliances

Mandatory Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, computer engineering, computer science, software development or other closely related discipline
• Minimum 10 years of demonstrated progressively responsible experience in leading an engineering team with emphasis in managing all engineering, design, implementation, operations and maintenance and deployment activities
• Demonstrated 7 years minimum of knowledge and hands-on experience in systems engineering to include network, storage, backup, platforms, middleware, application, monitoring, and security.
• Experience in cybersecurity related to cloud computing services offered by multiple vendors
• Demonstrated ability to understand unique network architecture and augment customized software to support the customer’s mission enclave (hardware design, test, and deployment)
• Demonstrated ability to implement virtual network architectures using tools such as VMWare or Virtual Box
• Understanding of networking protocols and network modeling tools
• Understanding of Network Protocols and ability to analyze PCAP traffic
• Ability to construct network visualizations (Visio diagrams, terrain maps, reports, etc.)
• Linux, Windows, Cloud computing language(s) experience (use, development, deployment, OS customization)
• Ability to drive technology roadmap expansion with unique customer networks
• Experience with enterprise security solutions such as IDS, IPS, PCAP, and/or EDR
• Experience in identifying security issues and risks, and developing mitigation plans
• Demonstrate innovative security approaches in non-traditional IT environments
• Solid understanding of encryption technologies and principles
• Familiar with MITRE attack framework and hacking techniques
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Optional Requirements:

• CCIE, CCNP, or other Cisco certification
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Security+
• Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP)
• Global Information Assurance Certification or demonstrated experience developing and deploying automated hardware appliances and infrastructure via orchestration, containerized workloads, PKI Infrastructure, Encryption at rest services
• Experience building enterprise security strategy for cloud adoption or driving the program’s evolution to meet new requirements
• Demonstrated ability to integrate COTS security tools into a variety of Enterprise networks, from lab prototype through full-scale Operations and Maintenance
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate with Enterprise support teams to deploy tools to various platforms including workstations agents, Active Directory authentication and SIEM tool integration
• Experience with patching and updating Linux-based systems using release notes and other vendor provided documentation
• Knowledge of network security products and techniques (Firewalls, ACL creation, Radius, TACACS, etc.)
