The customers office is responsible for providing access administration support across multiple networks to our mission partners serving in both CONUS and OCONUS locations. The customers office is responsible for coordinating with multiple teams of Engineers and Security personnel to ensure network access is provided as requested and in a timely manner to our mission partners. The Systems Administrators work closely with team members, site administrators, and other business offices daily; process incoming and outgoing requests for the provisioning of User and Privileged accounts and accesses; and monitor customer applications for incoming requests and tickets. Newly received requests shall be resolved within established timeframes. Requests that are unable to be resolved shall be routed to the appropriate team for action. They will also process requests to create, update, and remove non-standard accounts, both privileged and non-privileged; utilize identity and access management tools to confirm approval for access, employee status, and account naming conventions; and engage in ongoing communication with site administrators to provide status updates, assist with troubleshooting account issues, and answer questions and provide guidance as needed regarding policies and procedures related to network access. The team will provide account administration training to newly assigned administrators before their deployment to other locations; set up the needed accounts and access for newly assigned administrators to ensure they arrive ready to work at their assigned location; and work closely with various teams to confirm an employees approval for access, apply manual settings to user records to allow for manual account creations, and seek guidance when encountering non-standard requests. They will also work with engineers to resolve issues related to automated provisioning of temporary accounts, activating Outlook mailboxes, and account errors related to automated replication issues. The team should be prepared to test and provide technical feedback for new applications and application upgrades, maintain updated procedures that detail workflow related to account provisioning, provide updated guidance related to new applications and process changes to all team members as needed, and complete all customer required account administration training courses.
